Terms And Conditions

Nelson Tasman Private Driver Hire Limited will not be held responsible for any loss or damage to personal property or for any personal injury or death that may arise while on our tours.

We will not be responsible for compensating passengers for losses arising from incidents beyond our control, such as natural disasters, civil disturbances, theft, delays or mechanical breakdowns that may lead to additional expenses.

It is hereby acknowledged that you accept these terms and conditions if you confirm a booking with us.


Bookings

When confirming your booking we require a 20%  NON REFUNDABLE deposit to secure your booking.We require Full Payment at least 14 days prior to your pick up date to keep your booking, or we may accept another fare.

For bookings being made 14 days or less before pick up date then Full Payment in advance is required to secure the booking.

Payment can be made by internet banking directly to our bank account or by Visa or MasterCard credit cards and debit cards only.(An additional 3.25% merchant service fee is charged if paying by credit card.)

If booking a one way drop off or pick up, or Nelson daily tour,Credit card details can be provided to secure the booking and full payment paid in cash upon pick up if you prefer.

A quote for your hire will be emailed to you before a booking confirmation. If you accept the quote a booking confirmation will be emailed to you with our bank details or you can advise your card details and we will email you again to confirm deposit or full payments are received.

If you do not receive our payment confirmation within 48 hours of making your payment please contact us.


Cancellation Policy

Deposits are NON REFUNDABLE on bookings made over 14 days in advance,and later cancelled.

Bookings made within 14 days of pick up date that were fully paid in advance will receive 50% refunds if cancelled up to 24 hours before pick up date.

No shows on the day of pick up, or bookings cancelled within 24 hours of pick up will receive no refund, (and no shows will have the extra hour charged to their cards as per our waiting time charge below) unless at our discretion we decide that under special circumstances we will refund 50%.


Waiting Time

If you have booked our services we will have specified a pick up time on your booking.

We will wait for 30 minutes after this time for no extra cost on any non airport pick up locations and at local domestic airport pick ups, from the original flight arrival time you gave us.

We will wait for 90 minutes at no extra cost after the original flight arrival time you gave us on an international flight.

After these time frames above, we will wait for 1 additional hour and if you do not show up or contact us about your delay, we will leave and return to our home base in Nelson. This additional hour will be charged to your credit card at NZ$120, Or will be proportionately charged at NZ$30 per 15 minute period if you do arrive during this extra hour we are waiting.

The best policy is to ring us or email us as soon as you know of a delay in your arrival time.

We want your business and we strive to provide excellence in our service, so please consider your pre booked driver as he will be there waiting, and we are never late.
